Personnel
Management Reviews
Many athletic
administrators would agree that personnel management is one of the
most important things they do all day. Meeting with coaches,
support staff, and administrative staff in their programs is
critical to the health of any intercollegiate athletics program.
Working with people can be challenging and even difficult at
times. It can also be extremely rewarding.
Alden &
Associates, Inc. understands the importance of personnel
management in an athletics program. The growth in personnel of
many intercollegiate athletics programs, from NCAA Division I to
Division III, has created the need for careful structural analysis
to determine if a program is functioning, from a human resources
perspective, at its peak.
We can come
into your program and through review, analysis, and interviews
determine if changes and alterations would be beneficial.
Reviewing an organizational chart is only one aspect of this work.
Understanding the climate of the organization can lead to positive
changes that will be felt in the program for years to come.
The general personnel
management review includes:
-
Organizational Chart Review
-
Job Description Creation/Review
-
Compensation Analysis/Review
-
Evaluation Procedures
Creation/Review
-
Interviews with Randomly Selected
Staff
-
Recommendations/Report
Also, we believe that meeting with
the college or university's human resources officers is beneficial
in understanding the climate of the institution within which the
athletics program operates.
Personnel
management can be challenging and rewarding. With assistance from
Alden & Associates, Inc. it can be more rewarding than
challenging. We work with our clients to make the athletics
program environment one that is meaningful and successful for all
of your employees.
